how much i LOVED the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie! Wow!!! i thought it would never be as good as the first one, but, in it's own way, it was excellent! the special effects were awesome!

Captain Jack Sparrow, was more 'serious' in this movie, than in the first one.

they did an awesome job on the 'Davey Jones' character! he or 'it' was so extremely gross.....but, i couldn't quit looking at 'it'. And then of course, there was Johnny Depp........omg!

They are making a 3rd pirates movie...........and this time I hope........are you ready for this...........that Captain Jack Sparrow hooks up with Elizabeth.......omg! that will probably not happen.......but, little hints were dropped (and one kiss).........that leads me to believe that it just could happen. He just makes an awesome pirate! he's definitely got the looks and personality for that character!

Sorry! i know i'm coming up with some boring stuff lately, but, it's hard to get out and take pictures while recouperating from this surgery. Anyway, I found my MOST VERY FAVORITE VIDEO IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!! lol!! i haven't seen it in forever.......used to watch it all the time on CMT .........then, they quit playing it. I LOVE IT though!
Okay---i'll try to post some pictures tomorrow! thanks for taking a trip back thru memory lane with me!

i had surgery tuesday morning.....on my gums. I can tell ya, i'm not real thrilled with the way my teeth feel right now.........no brushing allowed for a few days.....and ick! i can't stand it! I also had a wisdom tooth pulled (don't worry, i won't post pictures of that!)........but, I had a wonderful periodontist......he really is wonderful..........and he and his staff sent me flowers the next day! here's a picture........are they nice?

still raising butterflys

the passion flower....my very favorite flower other than gerber daiseys....

my passion vine.......all of the yellow leaves is from the munchin' worms! (that is Annabelle on the porch)...

these caterpillars only eat from the passion vine. it has something in it to make them poisonous to birds......so the birds leave them alone. there are lots of ants on the vine though......which thru reading about it, i discovered they are there to keep down the numbers of caterpillars so they do not kill the vine.

they are eating machines! the caterpillars eat constantly.......and get huge overnight! there are gobs of them on my passion vine.

they look more orange in these pics, but they are more red than orange.

here are the butterflys now......i have one that hangs around layin' more eggs......and the other one got eaten by a spider --EEEK!!!--- i tried to save it! but it was too late! that butterfly would fly up and sit on my arm or head......

Can you find the bully? Annabelle really takes her naps seriously......she is all about comfy! I had to work on my computer all day......and the girls decided to hang out with me.....but, they preferred to sleep. (she's giving me the evil eye for using the flashy thing! LOL

the red birds..........there are lots of them in my backyard..........they like to hang out in the crepe myrtle trees..............i haven't been able to get a picture of them before, because they are always on the move......but, they look so pretty flying back and forth across the yard, from crepe myrtle to more crepe myrtles........i am surprised they stay around..........we have a bunch of mockingbirds.......who try to chase everything off! sorry about the blurry pic..........he barely stayed a second on that perch! LOL!

the critter that eats up my passion flower vine.....but turns in to the most GORGEOUS red butterfly i have ever seen.........hadn't been able to get a picture of the butterfly yet.....

my passion flower vine.........i lOVE it! i planted it last year and it's really grown this year.......

some other critters in the back yard.........usually they don't stay still long enough to get a picture of them.....

well, not really Toto......but, she sure looks like Toto from the Wizard of Oz! this is Cassie, she is a black brindle cairn, and mighty cute, if i say so myself! She's a Texas girl, too! She was fostered by Diane and then adopted....and i think she's found a good life there with Diane......she's got 6 acres to run around on.....

to Scarborough Faire ??..... isn't that the name of a song??

This past weekend, I went to Scarborough Faire, a Renassiance Festival.....& wow! was it fun! There was so much to see, and do....I did not get to see it all. I must go back.
this is certainly a fun place to be, and so many things to buy, I am now officially broke after spending a day there....

I can't tell you how much i loved these bells.....i even bought a cd....& (yes) i made him autograph it for me....geez.........i'm a bell groupie....lol! he was awesome though...& very animated with his songs....

My friend Vicki, who lives in Colorado, had this wonderful bracelet made for me. It has a hand painted picture of Rooby on it, and a little heart that says her name! i love it!!! :) Vicki is owned by a beautiful bully named Bailey (check out the link to Bailey's blog) and a wonderful yorkie fellow named Frogknot! He was named after a town in Texas.....
